WordPress hosting

WordPress hosting in Nigeria, paid in naira.

A WordPress website on your own domain, with its database, HTTPS and an always-on server, for ₦10,000 a month. Paid monthly in naira through Paystack. Cancel any month.

₦10,000/month on Starter · one WordPress website · always on · prices exclude 7.5% VAT

WordPress, with its database

The site and its own MariaDB, set up together. You finish the WordPress install and log in to wp-admin.

Your .ng domain

A name bought from OneBit is pointed at the site for you. A name from elsewhere needs two DNS records, shown on screen.

HTTPS, always on

A certificate is issued and renewed by itself. Paid plans never sleep, so the site answers at 3 a.m. too.

Paid in naira, monthly

Nigerian card or bank transfer through Paystack. Cancel any month; there is no multi-year contract to buy.

How it goes

Buy or bring a domain. Add a website. The name points itself.

Three screens, on a phone if that is what you have. No server, no cPanel, no nameserver change for a name bought here.

Questions

Asked before paying

How much does WordPress hosting cost on OneBit Deploy?
₦10,000 a month on the Starter plan, plus 7.5% VAT at checkout. That includes one WordPress website with its own database, always on, with HTTPS and your own domain. Hobby and Enterprise run more than one site.
Can I pay in naira?
Yes. Payment is taken in naira through Paystack with a Nigerian card or bank transfer. There is no dollar bill, no foreign-exchange markup and no international card needed.
Do I have to pay for years in advance?
No. The plan is monthly. You can stop it any month and it ends at the close of the month you paid for. There is no multi-year contract and no renewal at a higher rate.
Does it work with my .ng domain?
Yes. A .ng name bought from OneBit is pointed at the site automatically — no nameserver change, no records to type. A domain from another registrar works too; the console shows the two DNS records to add there.
Is the database included?
Yes. Each WordPress site is created with its own MariaDB database. You do not set up or pay for a database separately.
Who installs WordPress, and who designs the site?
OneBit sets up WordPress and its database and gives you the install page; you pick the language, the admin login, then your theme and plugins in wp-admin. OneBit hosts the site; it does not design it.
Are backups included?
Not yet. There are no automated managed backups today, so for a site you care about use a backup plugin or export the database regularly. This page will say so when that changes.
Where is the site hosted, and will it be fast in Nigeria?
Sites run on OneBit Deploy’s managed Kubernetes platform in European data centres, served over HTTPS. Pages are cached by WordPress and your browser as on any host; OneBit does not run a CDN in front of your site.
